The De Chiara De Maio Foundation was established in 2019 by President Diodato De Maio’s desire to honor the memory of his parents, Giuseppina and Michele, through art, his long lasting passion.

Since childhood, Diodato’s father’s dedication to his job as an estimated and respected entrepreneur and his mother’s silent generosity as a pharmacist, have led him to increasingly appreciate ethics and the ancient values that shape him today, both as a father and as an entrepreneur

From this desire arose the Foundation, something that would continue to speak of them and their connection to the territory of belonging. The DE in the logo symbolizes their shared essence: two individuals completely different in profession and character but always walking in the same direction. Different yet equal, pursuing the same principles such as respect, love, generosity, commitment, and sacrifice, each in their own field.

The predominant element that has always characterized the Foundation is the idea of art as a form of love for Beauty. The De Chiara De Maio Foundation has always set itself the goal of making works of art available to everyone (even through private loans), with the explicit intention of not confining the collection within four walls but making it accessible to anyone who wishes to admire its beauty.

The Foundation seeks to honor De Chiara Giuseppina and De Maio Michele in an area that knows no boundaries of space, with the only limit being the goal of dissemination. Dissemination of beauty, which is art, a mirror of the soul and a showcase of the heart, because while it is true that beauty can take infinite forms, art is for everyone.
